POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT POSITION: Butina/Stunner Mechanic – 3 rd Shift DEPARTMENT: Maintenance LOCATION: Marshalltown, IA SALARY CLASS : Management Appointed INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE LESS THAN 3 ATTENDANCE POINT IN ORDER TO APPLY QUALIFICATIONS: Must understand the importance of Preventative Maintenance and ensure that these tasks are completed on time. Must be able to recognize and identify potential problems before they become failures. Must be confined space qualified. Must be able to identify all power sources for the purpose of lockout tag out. Must be flexible and be able to adjust work hours occasionally. RESPONSIBILITIES: Able to diagnose and repair two main sensor types - Sick optical sensors - Turk proximity sensors Able to navigate through the touch screen graphical interface. - Make changes and adjustments as needed - Use to help diagnose problems Able to diagnose and repair the three main types of control valves - Electromagnetic air valves - Electromagnetic hydraulic valves - CO2 fill and operational valves Understands the function, diagnosis, and repair of the three main electrical systems. - 24 Volt DC - 110 Volt AC - 480 Volt 3 Phase AC Able to diagnose and repair operator controls. Able to diagnose and repair shackle table control system. Able to diagnose, replace, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders. Able to diagnose, replace, and rebuild air cylinders. Able to adjust flows and pressures to regulate the operation of air and hydraulic cylinders. Able to replace and rebuild air and CO2 pressure regulators. Able to determinate, replace, and reterminate 480 Volt 3 Phase AC induction motors. Able to reverse rotation of 480 Volt 3 Phase AC induction motors. Must be able to weld stainless and carbon steel.
