About The Position

BUSSER/RUNNER – MAX’S TAVERN & MAX’S SWING LOUNGE Join the Max Hospitality Team! Max’s Tavern and Max’s Swing Lounge, both located inside the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA, are looking for a Busser/Runner with open availability to join our front-of-house team. Requirements

Prior experience as a Busser or Support Server in a restaurant or hotel setting preferred
Familiarity with table service flow and guest interaction etiquette
Comfort in high-volume environments
Fast, focused, and reliable under pressure
Excellent communication and coordination with servers and kitchen
Clean and professional appearance
Strong work ethic and positive team-oriented attitude
Commitment to cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction
Open availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Clear and reset tables efficiently and discreetly to support fast table turnover
Keep dining and service areas tidy and fully stocked throughout the shift
Assist in water and bread service, or food running as needed
Help with setup and breakdown of service stations and dining areas
Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service
Maintain a warm and professional presence in the dining room at all times
