About The Position

ABOUT US Located in Nopa, Early to Rise is one of San Francisco's most loved brunch destinations, featuring an old-school menu, but with all of our major staples made in the house. We are proud to make all of our own breakfast meats (bacon, ham, sausage, etc.), breads (bagels, English muffins and so on) as well as butter, hot sauce, jam ... you name it. We treat every job in the restaurant as a craft to be proud of and seek to create a positive, energetic work culture. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Baker to create all of our scratch-made breads, including bagels, English muffins, syrups and more! ABOUT YOU ● 3 years experience in restaurants (front of house) ● Possess strong hospitality and communication skills. (must speak English) ● Greet and seat guests in a courteous timely manner. ● Be able to follow detailed directions and job assignments given by the management team and carry them out. ● Ability to bus and reset tables efficiently. ● Ability to run food efficiently and communicate with guests ● Ability to learn, describe and recommend food menu items to customers. ● Ability to support tableside service including but not limited to running food, drinks, and arranging tables. ● Assist with opening and closing the restaurant. ● Must be able to lift merchandise and or equipment that weigh up to 50 pounds. ● Clean and restock areas when needed. ● Must maintain a clean and safe work environment. ● Ability to interact well with co-workers in order to assure the high level of teamwork expected of staff. ● Must provide work references. PRINCIPAL FUNCTION: The Busser/Runner works as part of a team and is responsible for supporting table-side service for the clientele of Early to Rise restaurant. We expect all our staff to provide exceptional customer interactions and service, while having an enthusiastic and professional demeanor. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for the entire shift. Must be able to frequently lift and carry food and other items weighing up to 75 pounds and occasionally greater. Must be able to go from warm to cold climates (workstation to coolers). Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, all member of the staff work weekends and holidays .
