About The Position

This role will be located at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills set in East Quogue, New York. Employer of record is: DLV Hamptons Management LLC Dune Deck Beach Club and The Hills are seeking seasonal Busser / Food Runners to join the Food & Beverage Service Department. This role is available April 20, 2026 – October 7th, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available for in-country extension. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Requirements

  • Three (3) months of experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
  • Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Required to work indoors and outdoors.
  • Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four (4) hours.
  • Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull.
  • May be required to lift and carry items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
  • Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate food service by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing soiled table linens, and setting tables.
  • Support Servers by delivering food items to the guest table, while taking care to deliver each dish to the proper seat.
  • Clear away anything from the table that isn’t being used and check water glass levels while refilling as needed.
  • Replace any silverware as needed.
  • Check surrounding area of restaurant for anything that needs to be cleared,
  • Provide brief explanation of items being delivered to each guest and ask if anything else is needed.
  • Assist kitchen staff as needed to ensure dishes are plated properly, matching the description on the ticket and delivered accurately and efficiently, including any condiments or sauces.
  • Responsible for preparing the runner station for each meal according to the checklist and consistently restock as needed, keeping the area clean and organized.
  • Maintain familiarity with the menu items and be prepared to answer any guest questions,
  • Follow and maintain restaurant policies, procedures, training, safety, and security.
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as necessary.

Cost of housing and utilities, if accepted, is $100.00 - $150.00 per week for a shared room.
