About The Position

At Magnolia, the Busser/Runner is responsible for clearing and resetting tables and running food to guests. This position works from Magnolia Table in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Assistant Front of House Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
0-1 years of related work experience preferred
Food Handler's license and TABC certification required upon hire
Must be available to work weekends, nights, special events, and holidays as business needs require
Strong customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required
Ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor while working with a sense of urgency required

Responsibilities

Ensure the highest level of guest care, in line with Magnolia’s brand
Clean and reset tables in line with Magnolia Table process and procedure
Assisting servers by pre-bussing tables and taking dishes to the kitchen
Run food and drinks to designated tables with a sense of urgency
Maintain dish area by cleaning and organizing dishes and containers and help with trash runs
Ensure the outside of the restaurant is clean and free of trash or debris
Respond to guest needs when possible and/or communicate to a manager if necessary
Ensure that paper towel dispensers, hand sanitizer and hand soap are all fully stocked
Ensure a safe and clean working environment
Perform other duties as assigned
