About The Position

The Busser is responsible for supporting the service team by clearing cleaning, sanitizing, and re-setting tables in the restaurant. The Busser is friendly and approachable and maintains positive working relationships with both front and back of the house teams. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately. Ensure all dishes meet presentation standards and match ticket specifications before leaving the kitchen. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service. Describe dishes to guests when delivering food and answering basic menu questions. Assist in expediting food during peak service times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line, kitchen pass, and service areas. Run food for all areas of the restaurant as needed. Assist servers with guest needs, including refilling water and clearing plates when appropriate. Observe proper cleaning procedures and maintain an impeccably clean and orderly restaurant. Ensure proper set-up of all service stations and tables, polish silverware and glasses. Remove dishes promptly as guests complete each course and/or meal. Assist steward with keeping back of the house areas organized with proper stacking and placement of dishes and flatware.

  • Basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients.

  • 16 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Weekend and holiday work are required.
