About The Position

Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, you will lead a team to identify, manage, and execute process improvement opportunities within the plant. You will oversee production staff to achieve quality and productivity goals, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure resources such as materials, equipment, and staffing are available to meet production schedules. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service while fostering an engaged, team-oriented workforce to drive business results. Your Impact Lead production operations to maintain quality, productivity, and cost standards. Train and develop employees to ensure effective performance of responsibilities. Support sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food-safe environment. Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures consistently. Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with programs such as lock-out/tag-out, PPE, and confined space entry. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, loss management, GMPs, and plant safety practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends and/or shifts with a strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated leader who can multi-task and inspire others.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience in food processing or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.
