The Local Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for proactively soliciting local business within the area around the Miami Marriott Dadeland and Courtyard Miami Dadeland properties. The primary intent of the position is to create one on one business relationships with individuals who influence and drive local transient room nights, local catering events, and small local meetings. Research, solicits and qualifies business opportunities. The position executes local corporate rate agreements and distributes local catering and meetings leads to the appropriate individuals within the hotels. This position is primarily an outside sales position. Responsible for the renewal of Marriott Global Accounts on a yearly basis. Rates to be in line with the hotel’s strategy.
