AARP’s Community, State and National Affairs (CSN) Group includes Government Relations, Programs, Volunteer Engagement, Community Outreach and Advocacy at the federal, state and local levels. It delivers on AARP’s social mission by educating and engaging people 50-plus and their families, strengthening communities, and championing issues that help give people financial and health security. As a Business Technology Manager for AARP’s Community, State and National Affairs (CSN) Group, you will lead the administration and evolution of business technology platforms, applications, and integrations to meet emerging business needs and align with AARP’s technology standards. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership, managing projects across event management systems, enterprise tools, and digital transformation initiatives that impact the work of AARP state offices and the entire CSN group. Responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders and developers to troubleshoot issues, overseeing integrations between systems, maintaining data mapping and dictionaries, and serving as project manager for key initiatives. The ideal candidate has solid technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions while fostering collaboration across business and technology teams.
