About The Position

Vanguard has an exciting opportunity for a Business Technology Consultant, Specialist. This role focuses on leveraging Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP) and Adobe Target to deliver personalized, data-driven experiences across digital channels. This position emphasizes business enablement, marketing optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert on business systems and user needs, helping to shape and align our business technology strategy. Leveraging your deep understanding of stakeholder requirements, you will deliver effective technology solutions and lead the implementation and testing of systems that support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Five years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP), Adobe Target and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Strong understanding of personalization strategies, A/B testing methodologies, and audience segmentation.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Web SDK and Edge Network for data collection and activation.
  • Ability to work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor adjustments (not full-scale development).

Nice To Haves

  • Three years experience in business technology preferred.
  • Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively analyzes business and user needs and identifies, evaluates, and develops complex information systems to meet business requirements.
  • Provides insight on the business implications of technology systems.
  • Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
  • Formulates and defines the systems scope and objectives, based on user needs and industry requirements.
  • Utilizes deep understanding of business needs to direct process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve key business results.
  • Leads the design and testing of new or enhanced applications that align to the overall business technology strategy.
  • Leads the implementation of business systems and software.
  • Analyzes, defines, and documents existing systems logic challenges, and makes revisions to address business issues.
  • Monitors user experiences and feedback on the use of business applications, and makes enhancements to system productivity, as needed.
  • Leads the collection, documentation, and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling.
  • Guides and advises less experienced crew.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Audience Management & Segmentation Experience with building audiences in Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP) and setting up in Adobe Target and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Configure and manage audience segments within Adobe Real-Time CDP for personalization and targeting.
  • Understand available audience’s segments, and data available to meet criteria.
  • Integration & Data Activation Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to activate CDP data for campaigns.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Adobe Target, CDP, and other Experience Cloud components.
  • Business Enablement Provide guidance on best practices for audience creation to allow for personalization strategies and campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT and business to understand requirements and help define needs.
  • Build personalized experiences across web, mobile, and email channels to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Conduct audience peer reviews and quality checks to ensure high quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor performance and provide insights to help future deliverables.
  • Continue to grow knowledge as the technology landscape evolves.
