About The Position

The Business Systems & Data Analyst is a key member of the Information Technology department, responsible for the maintenance, administration, and optimization of all enterprise business systems and data architecture. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills to bridge the gap between complex data sets and actionable business insights. This role expects comprehensive exposure to cross-departmental business processes to assess, implement, streamline and automate solutions while ensuring high data integrity and sophisticated reporting capabilities.

  • Experience in database environment like Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Acquired or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or similar major.
  • Programming experience preferred in X++, Python, MS Flows, MS Power Apps, Visual Studio .Net, ASP.NET, C# / VB, JQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, PHP, etc.
  • Experience in database environments like Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc and knowledge of data cleansing, ETL processes, and maintaining data integrity across integrated systems.
  • Proven experience building data models and interactive dashboards using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance business system processes using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Flow, SharePoint, etc.
  • Participate in prioritizing, scoping, planning, and implementing new system initiatives and lead fit/gap analysis meetings with business stakeholders.
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis, recommended resolution and communicate fluently and effectively with all levels of business users, technical teams, and management across the organization.
  • Provide technical support and training to the end users.
  • Assist in applications and systems maintenance, such as synchronization, backup, recovery, re-start, etc.
  • Manage and maintain Dynamics AX 2012R3 environments (Production, Test, Dev).
  • Provide general functional expertise in Dynamics AX 2012R3.
  • May require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
  • Intermediate-level and above knowledge of DAX formulas and M-language for advanced data transformation in Power BI.
  • Ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical executives in a clear, concise, and visual manner.
  • Deep understanding of relational database structures and the ability to join multiple tables across different schemas efficiently.
  • Deliver business intelligence solutions to fulfill business teams’ reporting needs.
