About The Position

The Business Systems & Process Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across the organization by owning key platforms and defining end‑to-end business processes. This role serves as a critical bridge between Accounting, Administration, IT, and Operations—leveraging strong accounting expertise to optimize system design, enhance business performance, and ensure consistent, efficient, and scalable ways of working. The position will serve as the implementation lead for major system initiatives (including the D-Tools rollout), govern processes, manage critical business platforms, oversee travel management, support cross department workflow improvements, and where applicable provide hybrid support to the Accounting team, including Assistant Controller level responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong accounting background with a deep understanding of financial processes.
  • Industry knowledge with experience supporting operational teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems and operational software.
  • Excellent ability to design, document, and communicate processes.
  • High attention to detail and comfort owning systems and data.
  • Ability to train and guide others through change.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent industry experience (Associate degree in Business, or related field preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning functions).
  • Experience working with ERP systems and structured data.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary business lead and subject matter expert for the companywide D-Tools rollout.
  • Translate accounting and operational needs into system requirements.
  • Coordinate configuration, workflows, documentation, and adoption across all companies.
  • Help train internal users and develop standardized procedures.
  • Own and govern all major business processes end to end to across the company.
  • Maintain the organization’s process documentation library.
  • Serve as the approval point for any process changes, ensuring alignment, consistency, and operational impact.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for workflow optimization.
  • Partner with Accounting, IT, Operations, and Leadership to align systems and drive standardization.
  • Assist employees and departments in adopting new processes and technologies.
  • Help evaluate new tools, software, and vendors as business needs to evolve.
  • Maintain fleet data accuracy, system configuration, permissions, and reporting.
  • Oversee contract uploads, metadata management, renewal reminders, and compliance tracking.
  • Serve as internal point of contact and administrator for the corporate travel system.
  • Manage employee access, policies, escalations, and vendor relationships.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for the corporate HRIS.
  • Assist with implementations that require HRIS information and process improvements.
