The Business Systems and Intelligence (BSI) Branch Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Business Systems and Intelligence Branch within the State Center for Health Statistics (SCHS), Division of Public Health (DPH). This position is responsible for ensuring branch activities, priorities, and system initiatives are aligned with SCHS and DPH goals, with a strong focus on systems modernization, data integration, operational performance, and service delivery. The Branch Manager leads and manages branch staff; establishes vision, strategy, and performance expectations; and oversees the planning, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems supporting public health data and operations. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and operational accountability, ensuring projects are delivered on time, system performance metrics are met, and stakeholders are effectively engaged. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, combined with a solid technological background and experience managing complex systems and teams.
