About The Position

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance CSC's Order Management platform. This platform has modernized how CSC delivers corporate transaction services, and your contributions will help ensure ongoing stability while driving continued improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as experience in research, facilitation, and working collaboratively with stakeholders across both business and technology teams. You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and shaping future enhancements that address evolving client needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in reviewing and improving processes, supporting daily operations, or contributing to system enhancements; while prior business analyst experience is a plus, it is not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and product leaders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once and quickly adjust to changing requirements.
  • Meticulous attention to detail paired with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Background in evaluating and streamlining business processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Desired experience working with the Pega Platform or similar workflow and ordering platforms.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience with backlog management are advantageous.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree is preferred but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve production problems within the Order Management system, collaborating with IT partners to ensure prompt solutions.
  • Work together with business and technical teams to gather and document requirements for new functionalities, performance enhancements, and service upgrades.
  • Create user stories, prototypes, process diagrams, and clear documentation to convey requirements effectively.
  • Engage as a member of an agile scrum team by leading story refinement sessions and actively participating in sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to adjust and prioritize the backlog, balancing immediate operational concerns with long-term development goals.
  • Lead user acceptance testing for both system fixes and new functionalities, ensuring that solutions align with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with change management and key stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation of platform changes.
  • Regularly assess user engagement and feedback to pinpoint opportunities for further optimization.
  • Take part in retrospectives and share insights to ensure that solutions drive improved business results and better user experiences.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
