As a business systems analyst on the Partner Systems team, you will leverage your HR systems and business process expertise as a liaison between HR Centers of Excellence and Starbucks Technology teams in support of projects and initiatives aligned support Starbucks HR priorities. You will work with IT to troubleshoot production issues and to deliver systems enhancements through requirements gathering and refinement, collaborative solution design, testing and validation. You will support end users with documentation and training.

Requirements

  • End user support and training, 3 years.
  • Functional HCM systems experience (SAP SuccessFactors preferred), 3 years.
  • Systems design, testing and implementation, 3 years.
  • Requirements, gathering and process documentation, 3 years.
  • Project management, 2 years.
  • Script development and application testing, 2 years.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with identifying, designing, and implementing new system functionality and improvements to existing systems. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements; consulting with technology to prioritize, develop, and deploy solutions; while coordinating user acceptance testing and business validation; and communicating changes to impacted stakeholders.
  • Act as contact for end users with system issues or problems. You will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting and tracking software and process issues to ensure resolution and keep systems operational.
  • Document processes clearly and thoroughly and train others on these processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to provide recommendations on new initiatives or projects.
  • Manage and coordinate aspects of small solution deliveries, internal projects, and process improvements including change management and training.
  • Create, modify, and deliver reports and data extracts in accordance with data governance and security requirements to support business operations.

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
  • For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
