Responsible for translating defined business requirements into system and technical solutions and recommends automated system boundaries and processes to solve organizational information issues. Determines operational objectives, gathers information, and evaluates output requirements and formats. Works closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Constructs workflow charts and diagrams, studies system capabilities, and writes specifications. Co-develops organizational change management framework and supports defect triage, system testing. Maintains automated system boundaries by writing and updating procedures. May create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training. Works in an Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodology.

  • Serves as a liaison between development teams and the internal/external customer or end user for multiple functions within a BU.
  • Develops processes to identify requirements.
  • Facilitates discussion with end users to communicate systems requirements to the development teams through the use of specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
  • Coordinates with developers, quality assurance teams, and users to test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptance.
  • Is able to work as part of an internal and external team.
  • Develops user documentation or training materials.
  • Has hands on experience with multiple software development methodologies.
  • Has a strong knowledge in using agile tools (JIRA, AzDO, ETC) to create, share, and decompose Epics, Features, Tasks, User Stories into the technical systems requirements.
  • Drives story pointing and can help the larger team understand the business and systems requirements and business vision.
  • With supervision can act as product owner proxy.
  • Can drive defect and enhancement triage.
  • Drives key meetings such as standups, Scrum of Scrums, PO meetings, 3 Amigos, etc..
  • Books and facilitates meetings.
  • Owns the technical systems requirements and has a strong knowledge of the required tools.
  • Creates and seeks approval for the technical requirements and overall tracebility.
  • Acts as an approver for the HLD, LLD, Test Strategy, and Test Plan.
  • Signs off on the test scenarios or test cases.
  • Plays a key role in defect triage and provides production support.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4 - 6 years of related experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 6 - 8 years of related experience.
