About The Position

We're seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst Manager to join our team. This role plans, documents, coordinates, communicates, operates and maintains functional and technical processes for the Technology Services Division for the NC Community College System Office. This position ensures operational, procedural, and regulatory requirements are met and align with strategic plans, technology road maps, and project management. This position performs administrative tasks to support the Division and Agency including direct and indirect communications; contract, procurement, and vendor management; and supports performance management through creation of standard operating procedures and delivery of technical and functional training. This position provides administrative, functional and technical services for the technology solutions department - including financial management, establishing standard operating practices, coordinating internal and external communications. This position will also lead, develop and deliver functional training for technology systems based on industry best practices and coach technical and non-technical users on NCCCS platforms and applications.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of business systems' theories Experience with processes, rules and regulations and how they apply to technology in the applicable area(s). knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and statutes governing the area of work. Skill in applying this knowledge.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable business information systems Experience with testing methodologies, training, business system analysis, and/or other applicable systems.
  • Ability to coach and facilitate the enhancement of employee competencies Able to train agency staff as appropriate to the needs of the work unit.
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration Skilled in conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences-including end users, stakeholders, and executive leadership-through both written and verbal communication and providing technical support and documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or other discipline related to the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of progressive experience, of which at least three are supervisory or involved significant experience as a project leader in the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
