About The Position

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: CT, DE, IA, IN, KS, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, PA, WI, AZ, FL, GA, MI, MO, TN, TX. This Business Systems Analyst I position will join the Consumer Loan Origination Systems team that provides development and support to over 600 branches at First Citizens Bank. Initially, you will focus on providing QA/testing support for configuration and software developed by the team, with a focus on accuracy and compliance with our SDLC standards. Over time, you will have the opportunity to further your skillset and knowledge in two areas: identifying and writing clear requirements in partnership with our business stakeholders, and performing hands-on data analysis and software configuration.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in System Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in System Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban)
Clear, concise verbal and written communication
Experience/exposure with SQL, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel
Experience testing developed/deployed software
Familiarity with Consumer Lending or other Lending platforms
Demonstrated sense of personal agency and proactivity - you search for problems to fix rather than wait for them to be handed to you

Responsibilities

System Testing - In compliance with FCB SDLC standards, validates that developed software meets acceptance criteria and conforms to expected functionality.
Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs basic analysis for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
System Support - Provides daily technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements.
Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis.
Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Assists in the identification of potential issues or areas of improvement.
