About The Position

The Clinical Trials Office (CTO) is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the alignment of clinical research operations with financial and billing systems. Ideal candidates will bring experience with tools such as clinical trials management systems (e.g., Advarra OnCore), revenue cycle management platforms (e.g., Athena IDX), or a strong understanding of clinical trial billing rules and regulations, enabling them to contribute immediately to workflow and compliance improvements. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Research Technology, this position collaborates closely with departments across the institute and will: Serve as the operational translator between the CTO, Patient Accounts, and Information Technology (IT) Apply specialized knowledge to ensure accurate and timely clinical trial charge capture Identify and resolve systemic issues that delay billing or create audit vulnerabilities Facilitate cross‑department communication and drive workflow optimization The starting annual salary for this position is $78,126, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field; or
  • Associates degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time computer systems or business systems analyst experience; or
  • High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma with a diploma or certificate in a computer science, or related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time computer systems or business systems analyst experience.
  • NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
