About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, engineering, finance, information management, or a related field.
  • 3–10 years of experience in systems analysis, operations research, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with decision analysis methods to evaluate tools, data, and processes.
  • Knowledge of MD-102, MD-107 Directives, DHS Acquisition Life Cycle Framework (ALF), and/or Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • U.S. citizenship required; candidates must pass a comprehensive government security investigation. Active CBP BI clearance is highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with CBP, USBP, or federal agencies is a plus.
  • Experience with CBP Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Accountability (PPBA) framework is desirable.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct problem identification, requirements analysis, and documentation for various federal initiatives.
  • Facilitate decision-making meetings, analytic exchanges, and collaborative team discussions.
  • Document systems processes, workflows, and data flows to support program operations.
  • Develop and maintain program/project plans, charters, and related artifacts.
  • Manage action item tracking, monitor deadlines and milestones, and support risk management activities.
  • Support the creation and management of SLAs, MOAs/MOUs, and Inter-Agency Agreements.
  • Analyze developing capabilities, resolve tool issues, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
