About The Position

About the Role Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education, and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The average compensation for this role is $60,000-$80,000.00 CAD We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our global IT team and help design, develop, and support innovative solutions for our homegrown ERP platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery—using both story-driven and data-driven analysis to solve complex challenges. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to translate requirements into robust, automated solutions, leveraging your skills in Java, SQL, Python, and modern software architecture. This position offers the opportunity to work on global-scale projects, enhance system functionality, and improve process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in a relevant technical or analytical role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to execute instructions and seek clarification when needed.
  • Intermediate proficiency in relevant computer systems and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to present ideas clearly in English (and local/regional language if applicable).
  • Ability to adapt to change, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Comfortable with extended computer or headset use during work hours.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements within your domain, using both narrative and data-driven approaches.
  • Design comprehensive technical solutions—covering conceptual, logical, and physical aspects.
  • Apply expertise in software development (Java, SQL, Python), database design, and software architecture (REST APIs, event-driven, distributed systems).
  • Collaborate with business and IT partners to clarify requirements and ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Support solution implementation through DevOps practices, including monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Assist with data analysis prototypes, data migration tasks, and integration projects under guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize ERP performance and scalability.
