Job Summary The SAP Business Support Analyst is accountable for supporting and training users on NRG's Work Management tools across Plant Operations. This role provides leadership and technical expertise to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of work management initiatives. The analyst serves as a key liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration and optimal use of SAP and related systems.

Requirements

  • Relevant industry experience
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and maintenance management

  • Five years of power generation experience
  • Heavy industry Maintenance
  • BS or BA degree in a business or related field
  • PM, PDM experience
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Proficient in communicating with large groups of peers or superiors
  • Reconciliation, analytical and critical thinking skills required
  • Works well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities
  • Ability to prioritize workload

Responsibilities

  • Provide user support for SAP, Fiori, Mobility, and NWBS/Project-related requests
  • Understanding of TRACK Contractor Management System
  • Manage security access
  • Respond to training requests and deliver user education sessions
  • Support SAP Plant Maintenance and associated modules
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance SAP functionality
  • Develop and deliver training materials for SAP and related tools
  • Conduct workshops and one-on-one training sessions
  • Ensure consistent user adoption and process compliance
  • Leverage reporting tools for data analysis and performance tracking
  • Support integration and interface activities between systems
  • Act as a liaison between Plant Operations and IT teams
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve work management processes
  • Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives
