About The Position

AB Private Credit Investors (“AB-PCI”) is the middle market direct lending platform of AllianceBernstein. AB-PCI manages over $20 billion of capital and advises private credit for institutional and high net worth investors. As a provider of capital, AB-PCI provides unique and flexible capital solutions to private corporate borrowers across various industry sectors. We seek to deliver attractive risk-adjusted investor returns by investing in unitranche, first lien, and second lien debt, as well as private equity co-investments and structured preferred stock. AB-PCI is seeking a business strategist to join our team and help shape the future of the business. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional to sit at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution within a fast-growing private credit platform. In this role, the strategist would work closely with the President, Head of Originations, Chief of Staff, and other senior business leadership, directly influencing organizational decisions that drive growth and operational excellence. Through close collaboration with the investment, business development, operations, and technology teams, the individual would gain unique visibility across the platform while leveraging extensive data, analytics, and technology platforms to measure performance and deliver insights. Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Data Science, or Economics
• Two-three years of post-undergraduate experience, ideally including background in investing or private alternatives transaction underwriting, though candidates with relevant alternative asset management experience will be considered
• Understanding of asset management industry dynamics, including market trends, investment strategies, and regulatory environment required
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Strong background in strategic planning, consulting, and research, with the ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.
• Experience in developing and enhancing business processes, with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Demonstrates good business judgment, creativity, and attention to detail, ability to take initiative and can work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with business analytics tools and AI applications.
• Experience with data management and process automation; experience with business overlay tools a plus
