We are seeking a skilled Digital Strategist to play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our corporate ventures and portfolio companies through comprehensive market research, customer insights, and advisory support. This role is designed for a strong generalist senior consultant who can adeptly analyze market trends and competitive analysis, frame product prototypes and other innovation deliverables to deliver valuable customer insights on the path to commercialization. Occasional opportunities to act as interim operators in new ventures and start-ups during launch.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of consulting experience, preferably with top-tier consulting firms, digital boutiques or venture studios.
• Proven experience in market research, customer insights, and digital strategy consulting engagements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong critical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in business process analysis, business requirements, project management and creating strategy or concept-based presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and creative market research to evaluate subject company position relative to market sizing, customer profiles, landscape competitors, and other key indicators.
• Design and execute studies to gather customer insights.
• Develop hypotheses on major problems to solve and use them as inputs to ideation.
• Facilitate customer cohort discussions, manage surveys/interviews, analyze results, and validate prototypes through customer feedback.
• Compile and present findings and actionable insights to senior management.
• Synthesize client, competitor, and customer information to identify key problems and opportunities as inputs to digital products or services.
• Create associations and sequence information to develop clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Familiarity with business and operating models, business cases as inputs to commercialization.
• Create solid, executable action plans to launch digital products or ventures.
