About The Position

Kokosing is seeking a Business Solutions Manager. This individual will serve as a strategic partner between Technology and Innovation (T&I) and business units to support the implementation of technology solutions and process improvements to align with organizational objectives. This includes the integration of cutting-edge construction automation solutions, software, and digital tools that will improve efficiencies, streamline workflow, and drive competitive advantages for the Kokosing group of companies. This position will report to the Director of Construction Technology and Innovation and have daily interaction with operational leaders and the IT department.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee multiple concurrent technology and/or process improvement projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and risks effectively.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a construction or business-related role.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technology.
  • Able to independently solve problems.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) with an emphasis in business, construction management, information systems and/or technology preferred.
  • Project Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for business unit T&I needs.
  • Support key operational and business processes associated with the construction industry including, but not limited to, document control, financials, project delivery, materials procurement, productivity tracking, general site communications, quality tracking, safety, and other related processes and procedures.
  • Facilitate the analysis of business processes to identify opportunities and potential requirements for technology-driven and/or process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison representing business users needs to third-party system providers, consultants, and internal IT in support of existing and future systems.
  • Facilitate the implementation and delivery of T&I projects and solutions ensuring alignment with business unit timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Maintain clear communication of project progress, risks, and benefits with stakeholders.
  • Actively seek feedback to enhance service quality and alignment.
  • Ensure that applicable solutions comply with company and client requirements.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of SOPs.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of training for business users to optimize processes and systems.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of delivered solutions.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to maximize ROI on T&I investments.
  • Assists in evaluating and testing beta releases and updates.
  • Assists in generating and distributing company-wide communications related to technology initiatives and applications.
