About The Position

Our Technology team empowers Rain Makers to advance Talking Rain’s connections through constant technology modernization, education, and security. As a Business Solutions Analyst II, you will lead analysis efforts for business initiatives by partnering closely with business teams, technology, and leaders to translate complex needs into well-defined, sustainable solutions that drive measurable results. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your impact and influence by strengthening leadership, communication, and analytical skills, taking greater ownership of solution design, and confidently navigating complex discussions while balancing business needs with Talking Rain’s standards and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business analysis experience, ideally in a fast-paced or cross-functional environment.
  • Proven ability to lead meetings and workshops with multiple stakeholders to define requirements and align outcomes.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and uphold Talking Rain’s methodology and business analysis standards.

  • Power-user in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Requirements Definition by facilitating regular working sessions with business partners and process owners to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements for moderately complex initiatives.
  • Evaluate and Improve Processes by independently documenting current-state and future-state workflows, analyzing gaps and impacts, and recommending practical improvements in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Partner Across Functions by working closely with business, technology, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to translate business needs into feasible, sustainable solutions aligned with Talking Rain’s strategy.
  • Translate Business Needs by producing clear, actionable artifacts such as use cases, user stories, process models, and decision documentation that guide solution design and delivery.
  • Provide Data-Driven Insight by using data analysis, research, and stakeholder input to clarify problems, validate assumptions, and support informed business and technology decisions.
  • Apply and Reinforce Standards by ensuring analysis activities and documentation consistently follow Talking Rain’s methodologies, templates, and delivery practices, supporting quality and traceability.
  • Facilitate Change Readiness by engaging stakeholders across functions to align expectations, support communication efforts, and contribute to training and adoption activities.
  • Lead Solution Testing by planning and executing user acceptance testing, coordinating business participants, and confirming solutions meet documented requirements and intended outcomes prior to release.
  • Operate with Ownership by independently managing assigned analysis work, prioritizing tasks, and delivering accurate, timely outputs with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrate Professional Influence by leading productive discussions, maintaining composure in ambiguity, building trust with stakeholders, and continuously developing analytical and leadership capabilities.
