About The Position

Oregon State Credit Union is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly analytical Business Services Credit Analyst II to join our Business Services team. In this role, you will ensure prudent credit granting, conduct financial analysis, and support the health of our commercial lending portfolio. Your expertise will help us effectively monitor risk, evaluate credit requests, and uphold our commitment to responsible business lending. As a Business Services Credit Analyst II, you’ll analyze financial statements, assess borrower strength, prepare credit presentations, and guide less‑experienced analysts. You’ll collaborate closely with Business Loan Officers, members, participant lenders, and internal partners—all while modeling our service standards and supporting our mission to make lives better.

Requirements

  • Credit & Financial Analysis Expertise
  • Experience analyzing business financial statements, cash flow, and collateral.
  • Ability to evaluate credit requests, prepare underwriting and annual reviews, and recommend structure alternatives.
  • Knowledge of business lending, portfolio risk monitoring, and covenant compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Strong independent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial information and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • High attention to detail in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Communication & Collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to support cross‑functional teams, work directly with business members, and communicate with participant lenders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to service excellence.
  • Experience & Education
  • Three to five years of business lending experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of the regional commercial market is a strong plus
