IdeaTek is looking for a Business Sales Executive to join the business sales team to generate new business through outbound sales. This is a high-impact role focused on prospecting, relationship-building, and creating custom solutions for Kansas businesses. You’ll work closely with our internal teams, adapt to shifting goals, and own your pipeline from first contact to close. In this role, you won’t wait for leads—you’ll go find them. From walking into a business to calling a prospect cold, you’ll actively build your territory while representing IdeaTek with professionalism and confidence. Location: This role is based in Northeast Kansas—ideal candidates will live in or near Emporia or Topeka. A Day in the Life Your day starts with planning your route—then you’re out knocking on doors, introducing yourself to business owners, and booking follow-up meetings. You might check in on a lead from earlier in the week, log updates in the CRM, or chat with a teammate about new territory goals. Whether you're following a promising lead or turning a cold prospect into a real opportunity, your focus is always on building trust and closing deals.
