About The Position

Patreon is a media and community platform where over 300,000 creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases. Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with: $10 billion+ generated by creators since Patreon's inception 100 million+ free memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and 25 million+ paid memberships on Patreon today. We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Business Recruiter to support our mission. This role is based in San Francisco or NYC and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model. The recruiting team is dedicated to bringing in the people who will help creators thrive. We partner closely with leaders across the company to understand their goals, anticipate future needs, and build diverse, thoughtful teams. Requirements

  • 3 + years of full-cycle recruiting experience at high-growth startups.
  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing effective sourcing and closing strategies based on an understanding of the market.
  • Skilled at operating with a high sense of urgency in all stages of the recruiting cycle.
  • Self-driven with the ability to be scrappy and resourceful

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to effectively scale the team by crafting hiring strategies rooted in a strong understanding of the business and talent landscape.
  • Build a robust pipeline of top talent using comprehensive and creative sourcing methods.
  • Own and drive the end-to-end recruiting process, including job descriptions, interview plans, pipeline management, salary recommendations, and closing candidates.
  • Organize and facilitate interview debriefs and be a trusted voice in difficult conversations that result in decision-making.
  • Use data to proactively identify and anticipate roadblocks and find solutions that ensure candidates and hiring teams receive the best possible experience.
