Summary: The Business Project Manager will report to the President and lead the completion of key business initiatives. These initiatives will focus on areas such as sales channel development, product marketing projects, product launch projects, business efficiency initiatives, and organizational development efforts. The Business Project Manager will collaborate across departments to ensure projects stay on schedule and achieve their objectives. These projects are typically large, lasting between 6 months and 18 months. This is a crucial role that will support the company's growth and offer valuable cross-departmental experience for the Business Project Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects
  • High-level analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid technical skills combined with a strong business understanding
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and in team settings
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willing and able to travel up to 35% as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering with a minor in business

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with departments.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets that ensure compliance with standards.
  • Facilitate and collaborate with departments to complete projects on time.
  • Execution, monitoring, and tracking project progress and performance, managing changes, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership.
  • Identify potential issues, develop improvement strategies, and resolve obstacles.
  • Improve company efficiency, reduce costs, and increase business growth.
  • Serve as the key link to ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • Drive engagement and influence decision-making to align project results with business objectives.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.
