About The Position

The Process Excellence Business Process Automation Analyst I applies newly learned skills and techniques to solve various Bank operations automation needs. Works closely with BPA team members to learn the technical requirements of the position and evolve their approach to independently applying technical skills to create Business Process Automation (BPA) solutions using a variety of industry standard tools and processes. Analyst activities include BPA development and lifecycle management, technical support, and all phases of change management. This also entails collaborating with Business Analysts to work closely with users to understand business process and automation requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • 1 year collaborative tools experience require
  • Strong technical and computer skills required
  • Required to be available for support off-hours, as needed
  • Must have cybersecurity awareness

Nice To Haves

  • Banking experience, with an understanding of Banking Operations preferred
  • Automated Workflow Development experience preferred
  • M365 experience preferred
  • Familiarity with relational databases and database concepts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Business Process Automation Development
  • Develop basic-level BPA solutions and maintenance with support of BPA team members.
  • Works closely with BPA team members to adhere to Bank's Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards and guidelines
  • Works closely with BPA team members to assist Business Analysts with the translation of operational needs into technical requirements
  • Develop testing plans and coordinate the testing of new solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical and procedural documentation
  • Participate in committee meetings/presentations
  • Learn new programming languages and technical concepts for future development initiatives
  • Participate in Digital team planning and development methodology activities
  • System Support & Administration
  • Assist in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house and third-party software
  • Participate in User Access Management Activities
  • Participate in the implementation of new software releases, following the Bank's IT policies
  • Collaborate to identify and implement solutions to recurring problems
  • Serve as an application resource for all Bank departments
  • Help monitor and complete tasks in the department automated workflow queue (EWF)
