About The Position

The People Success Business Partner II provides human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives. Develops workforce plans and an understanding of external customer trends and issues in the industry that could potentially impact business. Leads organizational assessment that converts strategies into result-driven actions. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers. Acts as liaison with other HR functions. Provides change management leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field is preferred
  • Valid CA Driver's License and auto insurance required.
  • Seven (7) plus years of progressive experience in Business partnering and technical experience that demonstrates expertise as a Subject Matter Experience within the Business Partner space required.
  • Must be able to multi-task, strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to use numerous computer programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and compensation administration.
  • Understanding of human resource policies and programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence results across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and strong proficiency with PowerPoint for the creation of complex presentations.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must have excellent management, organization, leadership, and training skills.
  • Strong communication, human relations skills.
  • Ability to empathize yet convey ideas and issues clearly and unambiguously..
  • Ability to analyze, coordinate and control multiple functions and activities
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visas.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • CCP - Certified Compensation Professional preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and guidance on HR matters that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other Business Partners, providing support, guidance, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that drive organizational growth, performance, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with executives to anticipate and address future talent needs and develop succession plans for key roles.
  • Partner with department leaders to develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative HR programs and initiatives.
  • Lead complex employee relations issues and investigations, providing guidance and recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Promote and maintain a respectful workplace environment initiatives, fostering a culture of respect and inclusion across the organization.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise in HR best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Act as a change agent, leading change management efforts and supporting employees through organizational transitions.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that support business goals and employee retention.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in HR programs and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, providing guidance and support to senior leadership and HR teams.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention strategies, including recognition programs and career development initiatives.
  • Facilitate leadership development programs and workshops to develop and retain top talent within the organization.
  • Represent the HR function in senior leadership meetings, presenting HR initiatives, metrics, and insights.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR policies, processes, and practices to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Drive to different SAC Health locations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by department leadership.
