About The Position

Orchard Robotics is a Series A startup backed by top VCs like Quiet Capital, Shine Capital, and General Catalyst. We're securing America’s food supply by building the AI farmer that automates our nation’s farms. We've raised over $25M in pursuit of our mission to help farmers farm more profitably and sustainably than ever before. What We Do: At Orchard Robotics, we’re building the future of farming. Our AI-powered camera systems collect the most valuable data for farmers, telling them everything about what is growing on their millions of trees, across thousands of acres of farmland. Our state-of-the-art computer vision and AI analyzes every one of the billions of fruit across a farm. All this data lives in our cloud platform, FruitScope OS, that we've developed from the ground up to help farmers manage their crops with precision. Today, our technology is trusted by some of the largest farms in the nation. Farmers use our software every day to make critical decisions and run more efficient, profitable operations. The Role: We're hiring for Business Operations , and looking for a high-agency, tech-native operator who thrives in chaos, moves fast, and wants to scale one of the most ambitious ag-tech startups in the world. This is a 996-style role : long hours, relentless execution, and constant problem-solving. The work will not be easy, fun, or glamorous, but the impact you’ll have here will be unmatched. You’ll touch nearly every part of the company and directly influence how we deliver for our customers and grow as an organization. This role sits in our Operations team, with very close collaboration with our Strategic Operations Lead, our Hardware Engineering Lead, and our field technicians. It’s a high-visibility, high-ownership position across multiple streams (operations, supply chain, product, and marketing).

  • High-agency executor. You don’t wait for direction; you take ownership, figure it out, and deliver results.
  • Excellent communicator. Confident with communicating respectfully, clearly, and constantly with customers, engineers, and executives alike.
  • Comfortable with unglamorous work. You’re willing to do what others won’t to make the company succeed.
  • Detail-obsessed and reliable. You catch what others miss and never let things fall through the cracks.
  • You're good at getting to the bottom of things and are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
