About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Business Operations Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join our IRC Business Operations team in Everett, WA. Seeking dynamic, curious, and inventive individuals with strong Project Management skills, BCA supply chain expertise and a proven track record of designing and delivering cross-functional integrations of plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals. Using Lean and Agile methods, you will drive solutions for Boeing and supplier production challenges assisting the transformation of BCA supply chain processes and systems in support of BGS and BDS future for Aftermarket projects within the IRC.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects
  • 5+ years of experience of leading a cross functional team
  • 5+ years of experience with manufacturing systems and processes
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

Nice To Haves

  • Level 4: 10+ years of experience Project management / leading teams, collaborating cross functionally
  • 5+ years of experience with ERPLN, in Supplier Management/Procurement as Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Expertise with PMdb, PDM, Bridge, Smart Sheets and QMAP
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Top Kit structure, MBOM, PDR, CDR and ITCM
  • Experience with BGS Modification and BDS CITAP projects

Responsibilities

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and is embedded into the business
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
