About The Position

The Business Operations Specialist II acts as a company liaison and ensures various tasks are performed timely and in compliance with policy and procedures . ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Receive, verify, and reconcile various documentations and process company disbursements. Coordinate with employees, managers and/or vendors on documentation issues. Ensure compliance with internal controls over processes and ensure compliance with corporate and department policies and procedures. Administrative duties related to above including filing and scanning. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of billing terminology.
  • Knowledge of billing fixed price, cost plus, and time and materials projects.
  • Ability to process a high volume of data with high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with employees, business partners, and clients via written and verbal communication methods.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in computerized accounting systems and knowledge of company-specific software.
  • Proficiency in standard computer software, application programs and e-mail.
  • Typing 45 wpm and 10-key by touch.
  • Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, and make decisions based on available information.
  • Ability to use judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and effectively plan and organize duties to meet deadlines.
  • BA/BS Degree or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of task related experience.
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Data entry skills and general math skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • May require having Deltek Time and Expense experience.
  • May Require having Deltek Costpoint experience.
  • May require having budget tracking and employee expense tracking experience.
  • May require having JTR knowledge.
