About The Position

The Business Operations Specialist II acts as a company liaison and ensures various tasks are performed timely and in compliance with policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of billing terminology.
  • Knowledge of billing fixed price, cost plus, and time and materials projects.
  • Ability to process a high volume of data with high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with employees, business partners, and clients via written and verbal communication methods.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in computerized accounting systems and knowledge of company-specific software.
  • Proficiency in standard computer software, application programs and e-mail.
  • Typing 45 wpm and 10-key by touch.
  • Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, and make decisions based on available information.
  • Ability to use judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and effectively plan and organize duties to meet deadlines.
  • BA/BS Degree or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of task related experience.
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Data entry skills and general math skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • May require having Deltek Time and Expense experience.
  • May Require having Deltek Costpoint experience.
  • May require having budget tracking and employee expense tracking experience.
  • May require having JTR knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and reconcile various documentations and process company disbursements.
  • Coordinate with employees, managers and/or vendors on documentation issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls over processes and ensure compliance with corporate and department policies and procedures.
  • Administrative duties related to above including filing and scanning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
