This position is National Remote. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four (4) days per week. The Business Operations Coordinator position will handle day-to-day administrative tasks that support our medical record retrieval business. While administrative in nature, there will be some light phone work required. Individuals best suited for this position should have a private workspace set up for handling protected health information and be self-motivated to remain productive in a remote environment. Day-to-day job functions may vary depending on business needs. This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 1 - 2 weeks of paid on the job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, Monday - Friday. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience in medical record retrieval, accounting OR finance background
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel skills include V-lookups and pivot tables
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with provider groups, health information management, OR claims processing
  • Knowledge of US healthcare system
  • Experience with accounts payable

Responsibilities

  • Invoice review
  • Data entry
  • Approve invoices based on specific business rules
