About The Position

The Business Operations Analyst is accountable for supporting staff, members, and critical services related to Symitar core operating environment, optical imaging system, item processing system, and automation platforms. This role acts as a first point of contact for stakeholders seeking technical assistance and helps ensure smooth operation of critical business applications. The position works closely with senior team members to learn system administration responsibilities and gain experience in troubleshooting, documentation, and workflow support.

Requirements

  • Entry level to 2 years related IT experience and/or training.
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn Symitar core operating environments, optical imaging, and automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a technical environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance to staff on technical issues.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Good credit standing (verified prior to interview).
  • Successful background check and drug screening upon offer.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic system administration tasks for the core processing system, optical imaging system, automation platform, and other key applications.
  • Support daily operations by helping monitor system performance, stability, and security under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Manage basic user access functions, including creating accounts and updating access levels following established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides helpdesk support and appropriately communicates/documents the actions required to resolve issues within trouble tickets.
  • Works with team members to rectify unresolved support issues.
  • Helps maintain and document automation tasks and system workflows in critical applications.
  • Works with credit union stakeholders to ensure the successful archiving of documents into the optical system.
  • Collaborates with vendors and internal IT team to implement and install upgrades to systems.
  • Actively contributes to change management to ensure items are approved, addressed, and documented.
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
  • Provides on-call support as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
