About The Position

The Business Operations Analyst serves as a critical link between business operations and technology at Move Concierge. This role is responsible for analyzing systems performance, optimizing processes through technology, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines business acumen with strong technical skills to improve operational efficiency, data integrity, and system integration. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Business Operations Analyst will own and execute projects that touch nearly every part of our company — from systems and reporting to customer experience, sales operations, and cross-departmental initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain broad exposure to a growing business. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership, drive projects to completion, and gain hands-on experience with the systems, processes, and strategies that keep the company running. Over time, this role can evolve into a leadership track within Business Operations or a specialized function aligned with your strengths.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: 2+ years in IT operations, business analytics, process improvement, project management, or a related role.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with CRM, ERP, or workflow management systems is preferred.
  • Analytical & Technical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Data & Reporting: Comfortable working with business systems, reporting tools, and dashboards. Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership, middle management, and cross-departmental teams.
  • Organization & Execution: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Technical Curiosity: Solution-oriented, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to improve business operations.
  • Business & IT Integration: Comfortable bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, supporting operational efficiency and system optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage small to medium-sized operational projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Partner with teams across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, IT, and Marketing Technology to solve problems and execute key business initiatives.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards in systems such as Salesforce, Tableau, Talkdesk, Gong, and SMS Magic.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support data-driven decision making. Alternate verbiage - Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Serve as a “utility player” for the Operations team, tackling projects that don’t fall neatly into other departments.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recommend process automation or technology solutions.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses on operational issues and provide actionable data-backed solutions.
  • Assist in implementing new tools or systems and support change management efforts
  • Support integration projects between platforms using APIs, middleware, or EDI tools.
