About The Position

MORSE boasts a specially selected team of scientists, engineers, and software developers to deliver best-in-class technical solutions that solve difficult multidisciplinary problems faced by the US National Security Ecosystem. MORSE is seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst Co-op to plan, track, analyze, report, and monitor the contractual and financial performance of our Department of Defense and national security research and development programs. In this position, you will collaborate with chief engineers, program managers, business operations, and contracts to ensure successful program execution.

Requirements

• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or other related field
• Expertise in Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (examples include JAMIS, Deltek, and Unanet)
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven, often fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Experience with databases such as SQL and/or Microsoft Power BI is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on program status on multiple programs varying in size and complexity with attention to contractually deliverable reports, 75% spent metrics, and backlog reporting
• Collaborating with chief engineers, program managers, portfolio leaders, contracts, and business leadership to understand and track program financial health
• Developing and delivering reports to assess program contractual and financial performance and projections including the opportunity pipeline
• Creating and maintaining Excel and ERP-based reports that will be custom-developed based on program requirements
