About The Position

Business Operations Analyst 2 Position Summary: The Business Operations Analyst supports DCSA's Field Operations by delivering business operations support and technical assistance to ensure the effective execution of the agency's mission. This includes analyzing processes, optimizing workflows, and contributing to strategic initiatives in a high-security environment. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency in security and intelligence operations. Key Responsibilities: Process Analysis and Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in business operations, map workflows, and recommend enhancements to support DCSA's core functions, such as personnel vetting and security adjudication. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to generate reports that inform leadership decisions, track performance metrics, and ensure compliance with DoD standards. Technical Support: Provide assistance with tools, systems, and equipment used in field operations, including troubleshooting and integration of new technologies for mission execution. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, external vendors, and DCSA personnel to coordinate projects, manage resources, and implement solutions that align with agency goals. Project Management: Assist in planning and executing operational projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment. Compliance and Security: Ensure all activities adhere to federal regulations, security protocols, and DCSA policies, with a focus on maintaining classified information integrity.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor s degree and two years of experience relating to the requirements. Substitution of a bachelor s degree is allowable with six years of related work experience in addition to the two years of required experience for the substitution to be allowable, a total of eight (8) years of experience is required. All personnel shall have superior oral and written communication skills, as well as a good command of the English language.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant business operations analysis and management support experience, or a similar role, preferably in government, defense, or security sectors.
  • Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Skills: Knowledge of business processes, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile), and DoD operations.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance ; ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance required.
  • Other: Willingness to travel as needed (up to 10%); ability to work in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
