The Business Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, assessing, evaluating, and overseeing the management policies necessary for successfully accomplishing the department’s mission. This includes the areas of finance and accounting, policy interpretation and implementation, personnel, contracts and grants management, scheduling and procurement. It is the responsibility of this position to independently manage the daily operations of the administration of the department, to see that the administrative needs of the department are met and to fulfill requirements and requests from the College and other University administrative units. This position will work closely with the Dean of the College’s executive assistant and will report directly to the Associate Dean for Finance and Operations.
