Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Requirements

  • Applicants should have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Accounts Receivable and general accounting experience.
  • Must be able to deal professionally with patients, physicians, visitors, and the general public.
  • Must possess a high degree of analytical ability and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the hospital’s revenue cycle, including gross charges, insurance billing, collections, adjustments, and accounts payable.
  • Performs key accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger review, financial analysis, and month-end close activities.
  • Maximizes the collection of payments for medical services from patients, insurance carriers, and other payers, while identifying opportunities to improve revenue cycle processes.
  • Utilizes web-based tools and internal systems to provide insurance companies with required documentation and to review and verify patient billable charges.
  • Assists with audits and charge reviews to ensure billing accuracy and capture any missed revenue.
  • May serve as the primary payroll processor, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Supports additional projects and operational tasks as needed.
  • Maintains compliance with state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
  • Protects patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to organizational policies.
  • Reports to work on time and participates in required training, competencies, and departmental meetings.
  • Builds strong working relationships with physicians, departments, and staff.
  • Represents the hospital in a professional and positive manner and supports the organization’s mission, ethics, and goals.
