About The Position

The Business Office Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in our expansion efforts, ensuring the smooth integration of new acquisitions into our existing infrastructure. This specialist manages legacy systems, trains new staff from acquired entities, and serves as a bridge between the Business Office and new entities. Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Resource and Implementation Manager, they collaborate closely with Administrative, IT, and Operations teams to maintain our commitment to efficiency and excellence during growth.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in revenue cycle
  • Experience working in a healthcare organization
  • Prior EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience
  • Knowledge of Allscripts TW/PM or equivalent healthcare applications
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking

Nice To Haves

  • Background in clinical operations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot billing and workflow problems for newly acquired clinics integrating with the Business Office.
  • Manage legacy systems by billing/rebilling charges, posting payments, and retrieving needed documents or records.
  • Train M&A clinic billing staff in Allscripts PM and provide clear written training materials.
  • Train Business Office staff on new workflows, state guidelines, charge entry rules, and legacy system processes.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships through regular meetings and ongoing support.
  • Maintain reports, resources, and SharePoint pages to ensure current information for both Business Office and M&A clinic staff.
  • Run daily legacy system, Allscripts PM, Power BI, and rejection reports, organizing and distributing them as needed.
  • Monitor billing and insurance workflows during system integrations, resolve rejected/unpaid claims, and identify credentialing or process issues early.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
