Requirements

  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance, Medi-Cal/Medicare, and authorizations is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate approach

Responsibilities

  • Assist with admissions, insurance verification, and authorizations
  • Support billing processes and maintain accurate resident financial records
  • Coordinate discharge planning alongside the interdisciplinary team
  • Communicate with families, payors, and community partners
  • Help ensure smooth transitions from hospital to SNF and back to the community
  • Provide administrative support to the business office
