The opportunity : Business Manager Being part of HSBC in Switzerland, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. What you will do: The Business Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and strategic alignment within the Private Banking division in Switzerland. This position serves as a critical bridge between the Front Office, IT, COO and other functions of the bank, focusing on incident management, process improvements, control execution, and the successful implementation of strategic initiatives In this role you will: Serve as the primary point of contact for IT and process-related incidents impacting the Front Office. Monitor, prioritize, and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with IT teams to identify root causes and propose long-term solutions to recurring issues Analyse and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload; Develop and implement best practices for handling operational tasks, ensuring consistency across teams. Support the Front Office in their daily tasks. Help to prioritize, identify bottle necks, issues and resolve them. Become a trusted and objective advisor to the business; Perform effective controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards. Work closely with risk and compliance teams to address any identified control gaps; Coordination and effective communication between various teams, functions and markets Strong judgement capabilities in providing general business management support
