About The Position

Join Mizuho as a Business Manager – DCIO Office! The Business Manager is an Executive Director-level role responsible for ensuring the effective operations of the Deputy CIO. The role focuses on governance, execution, and coordination across financial, workforce, and program activities. The Business Manager partners with technology leaders to drive clarity, discipline, and accountability in support of the Deputy CIO’s priorities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business management, technology management, or program management.
  • Strong skills in financial, workforce, and operational management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational discipline, problem-solving ability, and focus on execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Advanced degree or certifications (MBA, PMP, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Effectiveness Lead core business management routines including planning, reporting, workforce management, and financial oversight.
  • Establish governance practices to ensure accountability, compliance, and transparency.
  • Track execution of key deliverables, surfacing risks and ensuring timely follow-through.
  • Manage leadership routines by preparing agendas, materials, and action tracking.
  • Provide reporting and insights on performance, budget, and staffing to support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate across business and technology stakeholders to streamline communication and alignment.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and communications for leadership forums.
  • Support engagement activities such as town halls, leadership meetings, and recognition programs.
  • Serve as a central point of integration for information flow into and out of the Deputy CIO’s office.
  • Monitor progress of major initiatives, ensuring consistent management practices are applied.
  • Identify risks, interdependencies, and emerging issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Drive execution discipline and follow-through on leadership decisions.
