About The Position

Embark on an exciting career journey as our Business Manager where you will report to the Business & Client Experience Manager of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection. You will be responsible for overseeing our support functions including financial management, operations, analytics/metrics, relationship with vendors, controls and risk management. As a Business Manager Senior Associate within the Corporate Art Team you will oversee support functions including financial management, operations, analytics/metrics, controls, and risk management. In addition, you will have a strong background in Finance, Business, or Economics, and will play a key role in understanding operational excellence and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Operations, Business Management, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business administration, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience as a business or project manager, or in a relevant role.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities and stellar problem recognition and solving skills.
  • Advanced ability to use Excel.
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development.
  • Experience managing projects, people, and budgets.
  • Strong experience managing internal and external relationships.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, PMweb, reporting, and firm financial systems (e.g., Ariba, Concur), as well as SharePoint, Schedule Now, and other firm digital platforms.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle several competing initiatives simultaneously.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment on a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental budgets, including forecasting, planning, purchase order submissions, invoice processing, and monthly financial accruals, reporting, and reconciliations; manage balance sheets
  • Track business goals and financial scorecard reporting; lead prioritization of critical deliverables, strategic priorities, and metrics, including action plan responses for the Corporate Art Collection.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for functional partners (Finance, HR, Procurement, Controls, TPO, Sourcing, Legal and Compliance, GRE, and LOBs).
  • Partner with GRE financial partners and Project Management to oversee project budgets globally, ensuring alignment and financial discipline across all initiatives.
  • Manage controls-related projects, including updating departmental policy and procedure documents, schedules and budgets, metrics and reports, GRE projects.
  • Work with approved vendors to implement GRE projects, ensuring compliance with firm standards and successful project delivery.
  • Lead management priorities and manage cross-functional relationships for senior management, collaborating within the Corporate Art Team.
  • Coordinate & plan quarterly reports to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly status updates for the team.
  • Lead specialty ad-hoc project management, proactive and strategic planning in partnership with the Global Head and team.
  • Promote collaboration, operational excellence, and risk controls.
