About The Position

Business Manager- BC&P Product Portfolio Strategy & Insights Summary: As a Business Analysis Manager at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major product challenges.. You will specifically support Prod Ops. General Responsibilities: Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions: engage in root cause and stakeholder analysis, generate and evaluate solutions, and close loops with implementation and monitoring. Lead and facilitate short and long term strategic engagements with cross-functional teams to address specific technology, architecture, and program challenges. Drive high-impact program decisions and ensure broad alignment on key program objectives. Change Management: Lead analysis and recommendations for strategic shifts to overall program scope working in close partnership with Product, Tech, and Finance. Execution: Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently. Partnership: Work closely with technology, product, architecture, and enterprise platform teams to drive scalable solutions and strategic program decisioning. Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
  • Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management

Nice To Haves
