About The Position

Top Central Texas Credit Union is seeking a Business Lender. This is your chance to join a team that has been voted one of the best credit unions to work for by American Banker! As a Business Lender, you will: Be responsible for increasing Texell’s business deposit and lending portfolio by developing business contacts, selling the benefits of Texell membership, and originating commercial loans. Attract new commercial loan applicants by developing relationships within the local community. Make sales calls and in-person visits to prospective members as a daily function of this position. Lead all aspects of the commercial relationship process, from opening business accounts and initiating loan applications to closing loans and the ongoing monitoring of loans and relationships. Participate in community efforts to promote business growth and development. Assume responsibility for ensuring that professional business relations exist with members, vendors, and trade professionals.

Requirements

• Has a bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Has sales and/or business development experience.
• Is knowledgeable of commercial/business products, services, and policies.
• Understands, or can learn easily, government regulations and legal requirements involving commercial lending and related functions.
• Is skilled in MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
• Has integrity, a team spirit, and can in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Has Project management experience.
